This battery uses SAE large posts. Verify terminal position and cable reach before installation.
Installation Steps
- Ensure engine is off and keys are removed
- Disconnect negative (-) terminal first
- Disconnect positive (+) terminal
- Remove battery hold-down bracket
- Carefully lift out old battery
- Clean battery tray and terminals
- Place new battery with correct orientation
- Secure hold-down bracket
- Connect positive (+) terminal first
- Connect negative (-) terminal
- Apply terminal protection spray
